Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion Review
Hello there :)
Today's review is about a brand that is widely recommended by dermatologists.
I got to try out this cream during summer so I can comment on the effectiveness of this lotion now.
This lotion is white in colour and rather thick to be called a lotion. More like a cream. I can see myself carrying it around to places where I would experience dry, stretchy skin and instantly want it back to condition.
It is a great moisturiser though it is quite thick and goopy for my taste. I don't particularly like applying this to my skin but once applied I really like what it does to it. It really blends in and gets soaked up but I use very little product. I think if you use a bit more, it will make your skin greasy very soon.
It is not recommended during the humid summer months unless you are in an air conditioned environment. It has this weird smell, I won't be able to describe it. Almost medicinal, perhaps. I have trouble with sickly sweet smells but this I could bear. I prefer it being fragrance free.
I had used an expensive olay cream couple of years ago which had macadmia nut oil in it, I think it smelt the same way and felt as rich as this lotion too. This product also contains macadmia nut oil. I think I like anything with macadmia nut oil when it comes to wanting heavy duty skin supplementing.
I would definitely pick this up if I were you. At 225Rs. for 100ml it is a good buy.
Give it a go if you have really dry skin or otherwise too if you require moisturing.

Hi Pooja, thank you for your comment.
DeleteI've used this stuff before! It seemed to really work but I had to find something that fought acne better but it seemed like a great moisturizer!
ReplyDeleteChelsea, it sure is. I add tea tree oil to anything when I need to fight acne, try it out. will put up a post on that some time :)
