Forest Essentials Sugar Soap Neem And Aloe Vera Variant Review

Hello there! How are we all doing this week?
I have somewhat begun to make sense of things I need to get done, washed and organized most of my room, and even started to cook as of today :) Made a healthy green peas masala curry but didn't have time to make roti or chapati so ordered that from a cafeteria, and just had dinner. It was good!
Enough with the bragging, let's move on to my next product review.
Since the summer sun has hit us really hard, I have been browsing through the deodorants, talcs and soap sections in the supermarket for some really good, fragrant yet natural options out there.
I really wanted something glycerine based- a clear soap- and wasn't happy with what was out there because I had tried almost everything. I was about to pick the Medimix Lakshadi soap as I really like that one, when I remembered that I had some soap stashed away from a stay at Taj Vivanta.
I have not seen the same online and looked up their website. I guess this particular one in their line is made for the Taj group but fret not as they have some amazing other variants which I will try as soon as I get over with these.

Here's what they have to say on their site:
These soaps are made by hand using the old-fashioned cold process. Our clear sugar soaps are made with pure unprocessed Raw Cane Sugar which is a natural humectant, helps to retain moisture in the skin, along with pure cold-pressed oils like coconut oil and almond oil. Glycerine, a natural humectant, moisturizes and precents moisture loss and is softening. Vitamin E is an anti-oxidant and a natural preservative. Neem is healing, cooling, anti-septic, antibacterial and purifying. Infusions of organic fruits and flowers, natural spring water and the by-products like glycerine are retained, unlike most commercially made soaps.
It is packaged really well, the soap cased in paper inside the package is transparent. It feels really nice to hold.
It smells delicious like something super summery and fresh.
It lathers extremely well and you need very little water else you will finish this soap off in a matter of few days.
It strips your skin off any oil and does a very good job of cleaning up.
What more could one want in a soap and it's completely natural!

This is one luxury soap and doesn't come cheap but is a real pleasure to use.
Definitely splurge on this if you have a thing for soaps! Do not miss it.

  3. Wow!... I simply love things like these. I am into soaps that are natural and such. But natural soaps always come at a high price. Rs. 225 for a 50gms soap is definitely high. But man, if I had a chance, I would buy this once and try. It sounds just lovely!. Awesome review, Coral!

    1. It is very expensive indeed, Naz. I guess it comes under the luxury soap category and it feels like one too. It's not as creamy as Dove as it's glycerine based but it's definitely different and good in all other aspects.

  5. Hi! Thanks for visiting our blog and for your sweet comments!
Cool product reviews! I myself have bought a couple items recently to improve my summer skincare routine - a facial scrub to get rid of dirt/oils and a light facial moisturizer.
