X-rcise Update for the month

I haven't concentrated much on beauty and makeup this whole month. Except for trying out some lovely goodies I won, I was more into eating healthy- well not really- and working out.

I have changed my exercise routine around a bit.Instead of going daily for an hour and sweating it out, I go two or three days a week where I workout for two hours each, cardio mixed with strength training.

Overall my body is getting toned but the kilos are still coming off really slow. I do feel better. The only thing that hasn't improved is my energy levels. That still has been on the lower end. Mostly because of my diet perhaps, I am not too sure what I am doing wrong there. Or maybe I should take some added supplements or whey protein. But since I have never ventured to using any of these, I am not too sure about them safety wise.
I have not been having non vegetarian food since over a month or more now.

I have been resting for the past two days and want to go and hit the gym hard tomorrow.
I do take green tea whenever I remember to.
Since I have family visiting I have been munching on chocolates for two days, not uncontrollably though. I get sick of sweets really fast these days and crave spicier meals. The chillies have taken over, yo!

Yikes, I can't get the pounds back on that I worked so hard to lose. I would kick myself for that if I did that to myself.

Still waiting for that breakthrough weight loss.Because nobody has gone like ," OH MY GOD, you've lost tooooo much weight." or "You look like a stick"
That would be like music to my chubby ears.

I just need to train harder and it's ok not to lose so much weight in such a short span anyway. Longer and harder and to sustain forever- that is my weight loss goal.

How are you all keeping up with your work out routines?

  5. I have never worked out in my life but now that college is over I'm leading a very sedentary lifestyle I need to seriously think about starting. I've been having many spicy meals here in Jaipur & it's making me a bit sick, when it comes to spice I'm weak, LOL. You sound like you're on the right track though, so good luck, hope you keep at it. :)

    2. Oooh, heheh, Hi Magali :)
I had never worked out in my life until I finished with college too. When we are younger we are always active, walking, running, going to school, moving around from class to class, indulging in sports with friends- so we pretty much don't need any extra activity or exercise per se because we are always on the move. But once you know how sedentary life gets after college is done with, you really need to put in an effort.
A cousin of mine just got back from Jaipur, she said she was happy with the food but then it started getting sickening to eat the same spices over and over again. She just wanted to come back home hehe
I love your blog, have I told you that?
