What am I doing?

Body aches and hurts. It's super lazy too. What am I doing to myself, I wonder as I await the honk of the car to take me to the gym. Am glad I am not doing this on my own, I have my best friend here to force me to get to the gym. I try to make all kinds of excuses. Where is the determination I had last night while I wrote that post? Should I laugh at myself?
No, I need to do this. It's a promise I have made to myself. I can't feel like the fat one every time I go shopping, for a dinner date, to a party or at work. I want to be the fit one.
Cheers to pushing myself today. Oh Boy! Fat burn here I come!!!
Have a beautiful day, you all :)

  6. Thank you, Golden Falcon, it's so nice to be friends online :) I am the laziest person and it took me years to start this new workout regime. I missed two to three days otherwise today would have been my ninth work out day but now it's just my sixth. But all I have to do is have someone kick my butt till the gym, once I am inside, I do work out...atleast a bit. it feels good after. I used to have green tea too, but I suffered from kidney stones and had to stop drinking tea. I can't diet but if you do, good for you. I am a constant snacker.

Megha - thank you, sweetheart. I really needed that. Constant support and encouragement, hope it sees me through this gym year that I am imposing on myself.

But now i have to lol I committed myself. you do Yoga!!! it's incredible, i am trying to pick my endurance levels up enough to perform a lot of Surya Namaskars. it's one of the best work outs for the body. and walking is excellent...wow 2 hours!!! where do you walk? neighbourhood? walking is best. I go on the treadmill now.

  8. When I was fit I never realized it's importance but after marriage I put on few kilos. So now I can relate to your feeling. I use green tea.

  9. Vertu, seriously, I never knew what it meant to be fit then too. Now, it's become a massive struggle but I am determined now. It's the case of now or never for me. I hope after a year, i can post a success post on working out :) Everyone's having green tea, though it is really good, I faced problems in the form of kidney stones as I had too much of it a couple of months back. but two cups a day is fine. no harm there.
