Elizabeth Arden Shine Pops Sugar Plum Review

Good evening, everyone :) We are well into the week and I ended up chopping a part of my finger during my morning kitchen duty. Luckily it's not come off completely but it is taking time to heal and that's why the lack of posts as I find it hard to type. I did panic yesterday and felt faint as I lost quite a bit of blood. The first time I got to know what feeling faint felt like. No, wait, this was my third time. Anyway, I can't wait for my finger to heal so I can get back to my daily routine of getting things done really fast.
Coming back to our lip gloss review. I had reviewed The Elizabeth Arden Shine Pops in pink pop. This one is in the shade Sugar Plum.
The texture is  sticky according to me. It feels like I have something on and I want to wipe it off but because it's sticky, it adheres well to the lips.
The dry weather has made my lips pigmented and so this colour looks just like my lip colour at the moment but better, so it just blends in with that added shine. It has lots of tiny gold shimmer in it. The applicator is very easy to use and packaging is good in that way.
The pros are it keeps my lips smooth and shiny due to all that gloss effect. The above pic is the colour with flash and the below pic is captured in day light. Have a look for  yourself and decide if it is something you would pick or not.
It doesn't have any fragrance, I feel.

    1. Thank you, Abhi. For pigmented lips, it will just add a little extra oomph but otherwise it's alright, more like a tinted lip gloss.
I have reviewed pink pop, there's another really nice once from this range, I think it's called Peach Fuzz

  6. This one looks so beautiful!! I wonder how it would look on top of lip liners !!

    Hey, how are you now?

If you are ok, can you darken the font color a bit. For blind people like me, it becomes a bit difficult to read :(

    1. I've made the changes in my font colour but it's not showing up on the blog as yet :( Tried several times, let's see why it's taking time to come in effect.
I am still having pain, find it hard to type but it's getting better day by day, thank you for asking, Nivedita.
Really glad you pointed out the font color problem.
This colour will fare pretty well over lip liners.

  7. My heart was in my mouth when i read about your finger. My mother has cut herself in a similar way while doing work fast & I manage to get cuts on my fingers almsot every time I'm in the kitchen, even when not using a knife! This does sound scary though, take care & hope it heals fast!
This gloss looks really lovely. Been a while since I used any but they were the first product I bought myself at 13 (by Lakme). Feeling a bit nostalgic now, great review!

    1. I am so scared to work fast now because this is taking so much time to close. It happens when we are working fast and probably talking to someone too. Can't stress on the need to be very attentive while cutting veggies and using sharp instruments. So dangerous!!!
thank you for your kind wishes.
so nice to hear about your makeup experience at 13 :) I think I had bought myself a lipstick when I was 15-16 when I wanted some making uo. It is nostalgic, indeed. sigh...those innocent, sweet days :) man, I want to become a teen all over again!!! waaaaaah. :)

  9. Oh my!... I am hoping your finger is feeling much better now!!... I read this post only today and that's why i had earlier asked you what happened to your finger on another post of your's... Lovely review, Coral!... It's a beautiful color but it's too shimmery for my liking.... I personally hate sticky lip glosses.
