Dove Damage Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo Review
This has to be the second best shampoo that I tried out last year. I never expected Dove to top my shampoo list as my initial experience with their first range of shampoos was a disaster for me. This one definitely changed my mind about the brand.
I really like the packaging. It comes in a sleek plastic case with an easy open flip cap.
The product looks a glistening gold. It does not have any shine inducing particles but it leaves a subtle shine to the hair.
It is creamy in consistency, lathers extremely well. You do not need much product.
The best part is that it completely cleans off any residue of oil on your scalp and leaves it nourished and clean.
My hair felt lighter and softer with each wash.
A great purchase for a drug store brand shampoo. I highly recommend this.
Even though it is creamy it never left my scalp feeling even a little greasy.
Fragrance was the usual Dove kind of fragrance.
Even though it says oil care, I think you cannot skip out oiling your hair if you want it to feel really well nourished. What works for me is oiling my hair and then using this shampoo. It's the perfect combination.
It has a combination of coconut oil, sunflower seed oil and sweet almond oil.
MRP: Rs.128 for 200ml
It is a definite re-purchase for me and it does all the good things you expect from a good cleanser.
ps- Have you tried and liked any shampoo or conditioners from Dove?
pps- Is it just me or are all your pictures on google plus appearing darker on the blogs? Strange things have been happening....hmmmm

ReplyDeleteMegha, I've tried the split end rescue range too and fount it good. This was the best for my hair type as I have very thick hair.
DeleteDove Hair Care Didn't Suit Me.. in Terms of Hair Fall!
ReplyDeleteNo, There Are Others Too! :P
Whoa! Hair fall too, Heena? This doesn't look like a favoured shampoo among most who have commented so far. Point noted.
DeleteI use a Intensive Damage Therapy shampoo from Dove and am quite happy with it. Never tried the nourishing oil care range. I think I should go try this next time. Excellent review. And hey, am back from my vacation :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Naz!! Long long vacation. Hope you enjoyed it. So good to see you back. I hope you had fun. Thank you, I finished this shampoo up. Now I am using a Tresemme variant which is not as good as this one.

ReplyDeleteHi, Vipra :) Yes, Dove seems to have taken a backseat when it comes to hair care range. They need to pep up
